Tal Weiss - Motion Drawing

Tal's 3rd album is comprised of mostly original "musical miniatures".

The lyrics were written by Tal and Lior Suliman (with the exception of "Unsleeping Night" - which is a Japanese 12th century Waka poem). Tal also composed all the songs on the album, apart from "Return Of The Native" (originally by Early Day Miners).

The album features contributions from Rachel Mercer (cello), Julia Rovinsky (harp), Peter Marck (double bass), Lior Eitan (flutes), Tamar Melzer (cor anglais), Karen Zehavi (vibraphone), Yehuda Schryer (classical Guitar) and Dub Mentor (water bottles).

"Motion Drawing" was produced by Lior Suliman & Tal Weiss and engineered by Yoram Vazan.

"The arrival of a unique, intimate new voice"… "With Weiss less is definitely more"

"When it comes to minimalistic musical miniatures Tal Weiss certainly knows how to score" (BBC Radio 3)

"Original and unusual"… "Album highlights 'Unsleeping Night' and 'Him & I' hang in the air like transitory sonic dreams" (Terrascope)

"Attentive listening leads to an understating that the silence within and between the sounds is as important as the sounds themselves. This insight charges Weiss' pop miniatures in purified beauty and reveals the rich hidden happenings in them" (Haaretz)
